Buddh International Circuit:- The Buddhist International Circuit is an Indian motor racing circuit located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India in Delhi NCR. The track shares its name with Gautam Buddha, as the track is located in the district. The track was officially inaugurated on 18/10/2011. The 5.14 km long circuit was designed by German racetrack designer Hermann Schnack. The circuit was known as the extraordinary scene for the yearly Formula One Indian Grand Prix, which was first facilitated in October 2011. However, the Grand Prix was suspended for 2014 and later canceled due to a tax dispute with the Uttar Pradesh government.

In 2007, a temporary agreement was signed between the then CEO of the Formula One group, the Indian Olympic Association, and Bernie Ecclestone to host the Indian Grand Prix. Road in Greater Noida in the north Indian territory of Uttar Pradesh was picked as the area of the track that would have the race.. Land procurement delays and construction were reported due to the ongoing financial crisis in early 2009. The design of the track was finally revealed in November 2009. The venue was slated to begin the program during the 2010 Formula One season, with construction to be completed on time. The FIA, the governing body of Formula One racing, had announced the inclusion of the Indian Grand Prix for 30/10/2011. The construction is estimated to cost approximately (20 billion ($ 400 million), the circuit has an estimated length of 5.13 km and spans an area of 874 acres and is another creation of Harman Tilke. The circuit is officially called 18 It was inaugurated in October 2011, about two weeks before the first race. Seating capacity is likely to be 110,000 initially, with provisions to increase it to 200,000 later. The Buddhist International Circuit, which facilitated India’s first Formula One Grand Prix on 30/10/2011  was granted the ‘2011 Motorsport Facility of the Year’ grant at the Professional Motorsport World Expo 2011.
